2021.09.23 14:04 Fenwx Just purchased the 2019 Crafty +..
And I’ve now seen that they have announced the 2021 model, doh I should have better researched.
Should I return the Crafty + I’ve bought and instead buy the new one, or is the USB C not that much worth it?
I got it on a sale for £180 inc. next day postage, whereas I’ve checked and the 2021 Crafty + is going to set me back £255 - is it really worth it?

2021.09.23 14:04 Rubber-duckling What can we do to make this community better for everyone?
I know we are all hating on each other so my question is really simple. What can we do to make this community better for everyone? We all love and play the same game just different aspects of it, so we must have more incommen than we think!

2021.09.23 14:04 ebarkbark21 2013 Hyundai Sonata SE won’t lock
I just purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and the passenger door and the back seat driver won’t lock from the key fob or lock buttons in the car. Guy from the dealership said he thought it was as simple as the lock hook coming undone because the doors will lock you just have to manually lock them. Any idea on what it might be? Thanks.

2021.09.23 14:04 videogameocd-er Fellow PS4 owners of The Witcher 3 Complete Edition on the PS Store.
Can y'all help me understand what exactly am I supposed to download from the Library to get all the content?
They've added TW 3 complete edition and a regular TW 3. The regular still says pay to play and the other one I can download.
BUT, If I download it I cannot see any of the DLCs etc to download and add to my game. The complete edition is 40 GB, is it possible all the content is just added to the game file itself?
I did download the DLC stuff packs separately but it won't install that saying I don't have the game.
How much is the game size with all the content for you guys?

Nacionalni barvi Slovenije sta bili vse do leta 1916 zmeraj modra in zlata, nikoli rdeča. Mnenja?

2021.09.23 14:04 OvenInteresting1991 Are there any philosophies in which consequences, intentions, and motivations do not matter? Why would a thought and/or action be immoral if it's not possible for it to do harm?
To understand the question, I'll clarify what I mean by harm. To not do harm means to not make a being suffer.
The harm principle holds that one can do whatever they want as long as it does no harm. In other words, the actions of one being would be limited to not doing harm to other beings.
And if there is no harm, the action is not claimed to be immoral, but amoral.
To many, a thought and/or action that leads to a worse consequence is not "attractive".
But are there any philosophies that do not focus on consequences and/or intentions?
What justification is there for those philosophies?
If not committing an immoral action leads to a worse consequence (such as cases of duress and necessity), why would it be immoral to commit said immoral action? (people claim an immoral action becomes moral under duress and necessity)
And why would an action that does no harm and can not make another being suffer be immoral?
Suppose the scenarios below (and when responding to the questions, please refrain from appealing to "society". "These things are not good for society" is not an acceptable, good answer to me because I couldn't care less for "society"):
1- Suppose one, named A, lies to another, named B, and the lie makes B happy. "Ignorance is bliss", as they claim. Why would the lying be immoral when it does no harm?
2- Suppose one, named C, cheats on their partner, named D, and the partner never finds out. Why would the cheating be immoral when it does no harm?
3- Suppose one, named E, lies to and rapes a comatose patient, named F, that can not hear and feel anything. F, in a "permanent vegetative state", has no consciousness, can never wake up and their "life support" would be removed after the rape. Why would the lying and raping be immoral when they can do no harm?
4- Suppose one, named G, tells another, named H, to steal. H steals. Why would G be responsible for what someone else, H, does? The mere telling of another to commit an immoral act can not do harm on its own. If "free will" exists, H could have refused and chosen not to steal. That they do steal is their choice and of their will. Why would G's action be immoral, even if it's encouragement/incitement?
What are the arguments against "noone is responsible for someone else's actions"?
5- Suppose one, named I, "creates" media, literature and art that depict immoral thoughts and actions within them, such as theft, rape, etc. Another, named J, consumes the media, literature, and art, and goes out there to act on what they've consumed. They come to steal, rape, etc. Why would the depiction of immoral thoughts and actions within fiction be immoral? Why would "creators" be responsible for the actions of their consumers?
If "free will" exists, why would being held responsible for someone else's actions make sense?
And if noone acts on the immoral fiction they consume, why would the depiction of immoral thoughts and actions within fiction be immoral when it does no harm?
6- Suppose a being, named K, "kills" plants, and single celled organisms like bacteria. I'm not religious and don't believe plants and single celled organisms have consciousness or whatever. I don't believe they feel pain. Why would the "killing" of plants and single celled organisms when they can not feel pain and therefore can not be harmed by "death" be immoral?
Are there any philosophies that consider the "killing" of plants, single celled organisms, zygotes, embryos, fetuses, etc immoral on non-religious grounds, even when it's accepted the plants, single celled organisms, zygotes, embryos, fetuses, etc can not feel pain and are not conscious?
Why would "death" be bad for beings that can not feel and think about anything?
7- Suppose one, named L, unintentionally spreads false information, believing the information is not false. The false information does no harm to others. For something to be a lie, there must be "intention" to deceive, and the unintentional deception can not be considered a lie. Why would the unintentional deception be immoral when it does no harm?
Here is an article on the subject of deception: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-nature-deception/201905/what-is-lie
Is an actress also lying when she convincingly tells the audience that she is sad when she is actually happy? When Mick Jagger sings, “I rode a tank, held a general's rank, when the Blitzkrieg raged and the bodies stank,” is he lying too? After all, the audience is aware of the untruth. We all know that he was not actually a tank commander during World War II. And he knows that we know that. Perhaps the common definition of lying is too imprecise for what most of us mean when we use the word “lie.” ...Others have taken an even broader view of lying by removing the requirement that a lie be an intentional act of deception. Thus the definition of lying becomes “to deceive.” They argue that a lie can sometimes be unintentional, such as when non-poisonous butterflies mimic the colorful markings of their poisonous cousins, thus appearing unpalatable to birds. I think that this view of lying is too expansive to capture what most people mean when they declare that someone has lied. According to this definition, people suffering from delusional disorders who claim that aliens are spying on them would be categorized as liars. Intention is central to how we view the morality of many objectionable behaviors such as lying. For instance, we perceive a shove as hostile if it is intentional, whereas a non-intentional shove is viewed as an innocent mistake. Most people tend to believe an unintentional action is less immoral than an intentional action. They do not feel harmed by unintentional actions as much as they do by intentional actions.
2021.09.23 14:04 Abaddon879 [UK] Budget office chair suggestions and where to buy
Looking for a budget office chair that is available to order online and offers delivery. Looking at around £250 budget, and something that would be suitable for a slim male - 5'6" and about 60kg/132lbs.
At work we use Bestuhl J1 chairs, however I previously used a HM Aeron which I wasn't a big fan of due to the hard plastic seat edge and the seat wasn't appropriate for my size (I guess it was a size B). I would therefore prefer a fabric base, with a mesh back.
